Since I've shipped my KTM 690 from San Francisco to France in June 2021, I took the opportunity to organize a few rides. Here is the one to the Spanish Pyrenees with my nephew Vincent on his KTM 1290 and Ulysse on his KTM 790.

In Andorra, just south of Parc Natural de la Vall de Sorteny
After a night in Andorra we had to leave Ulysse who got back to work. Vincent and I started the day by the most spectacular section of the trip! At the border, going back to Spain, we went down the road after the Col de cabus. It's the entrance of the Alt Pirineu Natural Park and the views were breathtaking from the very start.

Peaceful wild horses, in this preserved place

Reaching the very small Tor village at the bottom of the valley

Soon after passing Alins, Vincent's front wheel hit a rock and lost its air. Here he is trying to bend back the rim.

View on the remote Escart village

We kept climbing until we reached the Pedres Blanques pass and the view opened to a scenery made fantastic by a stormy weather

We only had cows, horses and sheep as companions

The sensation of infinite space and remoteness was exhilarating

Unreal 🤩
